Tony Mcilwee BA (Hons)
Tony has nearly twenty five years experience of Nursing mainly around high dependency and intensive care settings. His current full time occupation is as a Clinical Educator in a nurse led Walk in Centre which deals in Minor illness and injury. He teaches around these areas with a special interest in Paediatric issues. He is currently studying for a Masters Degree in order to continue his lecturer Practitioner role .
Patrick Mcilwee FBCI MSc MBA
Patrick Mcilwee has over 20 years experience in the field of disaster management. He has provided advice to airports, banks, local government departments, Health services, industrial concerns, local authorities, retail outlets, transport companies, utilities, and voluntary organisations. He has created a range of emergency and business continuity plans, and has now developed training courses in business continuity. He has been involved in the operational response to several major incidents, within the UK and oversees.
Patrick is a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute; He has a first Degree in Disaster Management, a Masters Degree in Business Administration, and is now working on a Masters in Risk Management. Patrick has worked with local government in the UK with regard to Civil Contingencies Act.
Patrick is a membership committee member of the Business Continuity Institute, as well as being a guest lecturer in risk management at Caledonian University. In his last role he was tasked with rolling out a global business continuity policy across 27 counties.
